University of Miami - Young ICCA 2015 Scholarship winner announced

The University of Miami School of Law's International Arbitration Institute together with Young ICCA are delighted to announce that the 2015 Young ICCA Scholarship winner is Davide Schiavetti. An Italian native, Davide obtained both his Bachelor and Master of Science in Law at Universita Bocconi in Milan, Italy. Davide was offered a merit-based grant to participate in the University's Exchange Program and spent a semester at the University of Richmond Law School. His winning essay was entitled “Transparency in Investment Arbitration: will the Mauritius Convention cure its schizophrenia?.” Marike Paulsson, Director of the International Arbitration Institute, says that “Davide was a strong candidate despite being the youngest candidate and fits the profile of the Young ICCA member. Davide demonstrates a wide interest in rule of law ranging from international arbitration to the role of Westernization with respect to Shari'a and Marriage. ”
