ICCA Membership Restructure

We’re making some changes to our membership structure to ensure it remains sustainable and accessible for the international arbitration community.

From 21 September, we will introduce a new membership fee structure. This includes an increase in our standard membership fee, alongside new reduced rates designed to make membership more accessible to professionals at the beginning of their careers, to members in eligible countries and to regular contributors to ICCA publications.

What is changing?

From 21 September the standard membership rate will change from €350 to €400 per year and the corporate membership rate will change from €300 to €350. A number of additional categories will be available as outlined in the table below.

For existing members, the new rate will apply from the next renewal on or after 21 September.

All ICCA Members receive the same benefits regardless of their membership category. Benefits include listing in the online and annual hardcopy Membership Directory, discounts for ICCA congresses and conferences, discounts on ICCA publications, access to exclusive material on the ICCA website including ICCA 2026 Madrid Congress panel footage, and more. Why are we making this change?

The new membership structure is intended to balance two important priorities: ensuring we can continue to produce high-quality resources, undertake research into important issues facing the profession and support our outreach programmes, while reducing financial barriers for professionals for whom the standard membership fee can be particularly difficult to carry.

What does this mean for current Members?

Before the next renewal, Members are able to select the membership category and fee that apply to them under the new structure. No action is required until the regular membership renewal reminder is sent.

The annual membership fee supports ICCA’s outreach and capacity‐building initiatives (including the judicial outreach programme, research projects and Young ICCA), as well as ICCA’s grant and fellowship programmes (including the ICCA Inclusion Fund), and we truly appreciate their contribution, which helps us to further our mission of promoting the use and improving the processes of arbitration, conciliation and other forms of dispute resolution.
