In his 20 years of professional life, Dr. Aküzüm has practiced in various fields of alternative dispute resolution in many national and international cases including as counsel, arbitrator, and mediator, founder of Alfa Mediation, a member of the Arbitration Center of Istanbul Bar Association, and the vice-chairman of the Istanbul Arbitration Association, a sister organization of the İstanbul Arbitration Centre (ISTAC), that seeks to popularize arbitration practices in Turkey. Dr. Aküzüm has undertaken various tasks in numerous NGOs and business organizations and served as a board member and an officer of Galatasaray Sports Club and its affiliates for 12 years. In his academic life, was the head of the department of Banking, Finance and Insurance at Bilgi University.

- The Hon James Allsop AC was Chief Justice of the Federal Court of Australia from 2013 to 2023, prior to which he was President of the New South Wales Court of Appeal, a Judge of the Federal Court of Australia, and a barrister (Senior Counsel and Queen's Counsel) in New South Wales and Western Australia.
James is now an independent arbitrator at Sydney Arbitration Chambers and at Akin Chambers in London, as well as an International Judge of the Singapore International Commercial Court. He is also available as a mediator, early neutral evaluator, chair of inquiries and legal expert.
