Matthew is a senior foreign attorney (partner equivalent) in Kim & Chang’s international arbitration and cross-border litigation practice group. He is recognised as one of the top dispute resolution practitioners in Korea by Chambers Asia-Pacific (Band 1), WWL (Thought Leader in Arbitration and Construction) and Legal 500, and received a special commendation for his contributions to international arbitration in Korea from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) in 2015. A native of Salt Lake City, he received his law degree from Harvard Law School in 2002 and holds an A.M. degree in East Asian Regional Studies from Harvard University (1995) and an Honors B.A. in English Literature from the University of Utah (1992).
