Michael is a Senior Counsel in Ireland who is also a member of a number of other Bars including England and New York where he worked in 1980-1981 with Shearman & Sterling (now A&O Shearman). He is a door tenant in Monckton Chambers, London. He practises in the fields of international and domestic arbitration, commercial litigation and EU law. He appears regularly before the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Ireland and the Court of Justice of the EU. He is a graduate of University College Dublin and the University of Pennsylvania with triple Masters’ degrees in both economics and law. Michael frequently acts as an arbitrator in domestic and ICC, LCIA, ICSID, UNCITRAL and ad hoc arbitrations. Mark was admitted to the Bar in 1994, and has over 30 years’ experience in commercial arbitration and litigation.
He has particular expertise in building and construction, infrastructure, and property dispute. He has acted as sole arbitrator and chair of an arbitral tribunal in a wide range of commercial disputes.
Mark graduated with a BA/LLB from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch in 1993, and an LLM(Hons) from the University of Auckland in 2001.

Prof. Dr. Nayla Comair-Obeid is the Founding Partner of Obeid & Partners where she heads the firm’s dispute resolution practice. She is also an associate member of 3VB Chambers in London and a Professor of International Arbitration. She has been actively involved in over 170 domestic and international commercial and investment arbitrations conducted in Arabic, French and English-language whether ad hoc and or institutional (ICSID, ICC, LCIA, DIAC, CRCICA, BCDR, DIFC-LCIA, UNCITRAL, etc). Throughout her career, Professor Comair-Obeid has held and continues to hold pre-eminent positions. She has been elected the Vice Chair of the ICC Global (as of June 2022) and appointed the Chair of the Jury of the ICC Institute Prize (2023 edition).
