He served in the U.S. State Department for nearly a decade, working on economic and natural resource diplomacy, and departed as the Chief of Investment Arbitration.
Patrick has successfully resolved claims involving billions of dollars. He is often called upon to provide strategic counsel to parties when they face international disputes, including matters related to energy and natural resources, and has experience with nearly all of the major international commercial arbitration rules. - Ira Paulo Pozon is a Philippine-qualified lawyer with an appreciation of the unique synergistic relationship that business and public policy have with the law. He has a distinctive appreciation of both civil and common legal systems, having studied in the Philippines and the UK.
He has a Bachelor's in International Studies, a Juris Doctor, an M.B.A., and a Masters of Law (LLM) with Merit in International Commercial Law. He was a Chevening UK Government Scholar and Chevening Regional Ambassador.
He is also an alum of the International Visitor Leadership Program conducted by the US State Department with a focus on U.S. Foreign Policy, an AsiaGlobal Fellow of the Asia Global Institute - University of Hong Kong, and a Senior Fellow in Public Service, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy - National University of Singapore.
