International Arbitration and its Conformity with the Rule of Law (Part 2)

Plenary Part 2

Central to the legitimacy of international arbitration is its conformity with international standards of due process and the rule of law. Tribunals must respect and enforce the rights of parties while also being seen to do justice, often with only limited supervision by arbitral institutions and national courts. To assess whether and how international arbitration measures up to these high standards, a group of scholars and practitioners will discuss some of the most topical due process issues facing international arbitration today.

Moderator: Doug Jones (Australia; Independent Arbitrator)
