Fabien Gélinas is a senior barrister and a full professor at McGill University, where he teaches international arbitration, and civil and common law contracts. A former Supreme Court law clerk, he holds a doctorate in law from the University of Oxford. Gélinas was formerly general counsel of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and chair of the Canadian Arbitration Committee. Eduardo Damião Gonçalves is a partner with Mattos Filho and has more than 30 year of experience representing clients in complex domestic and international disputes submitted to arbitration and court litigation. He also frequently sits as arbitrator in international commercial and investment disputes. Eduardo was a VP of the International Court of Arbitration of the ICC from 2018 thru 2024. He was a founder and former president of the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr). Eduardo is also a co-founder and was a vice president of the Latin American Arbitration Association (ALARB) and was vice-chair of the IBA Arbitration Committee. Eduardo is Ph.D in International Law from the University of São Paulo and has a Master of Law from the University of Paris II.. Eduardo is fluent in Portuguese, English, French, Spanish and Italian.
