- Nicolas is the Head of US and APAC International Arbitration at CMS. He is based in California but also works from the CMS offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Germany.
Nicolas acts as party representative and very experienced arbitrator with a focus on corporate, licensing and IP, joint venture as well as supply and distribution disputes, with a strong focus in the life sciences, technology and energy sectors.
Having lived and worked in both civil law and common law jurisdictions, Nicolas is experienced in handling cases under both legal traditions. He has in-depth experience with arbitrations relating to Asia, the US and Europe.

Before joining the Bar, Heidi practised as a solicitor for 12 years. In addition to her work as counsel, she regularly acts as an arbitrator. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is admitted to the DIAC List of Arbitrators and the SIAC Reserve Panel of Arbitrators.
Heidi has extensive experience representing a broad range of clients across multiple industry sectors in institutional arbitrations conducted under the ICC, LCIA, SCC, SIAC, DIS, FAI, LMAA, UNCITRAL, and PCA Rules, as well as in ad hoc arbitrations.
