Prof. Pierre Tercier is Professor Emeritus at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland and was Chairman of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce. He has an extensive international arbitration and dispute resolution experience, having served on numerous occasions in ICC, ICSID and other cases. He is highly respected in the international legal and business community as an arbitrator, lecturer and author. Prof. Tercier is visiting professor of law at numerous universities, including Geneva and Paris. He is also affiliated with the law firm Peter & Kim, in Geneva, as Senior Counsel.

Peter Thorp is an independent arbitrator based in Paris. He has conducted arbitrations under a wide range of rules and subject to many different systems of law. He has acted as Chairman, Sole Arbitrator and Co-Arbitrator on a large number of ICC, LCIA, SCC, CIETAC, HKIAC, SIAC and CAA (Taiwan) arbitrations, as well as ad hoc arbitrations under the UNCITRAL Rules. He is on the panel of numerous arbitration institutions, and is regularly selected by those institutions, such as the ICC and HKIAC, for appointments as arbitrator.
Peter has also frequently acted as emergency arbitrator and as sole arbitrator in expedited and fast-track arbitrations.

He has over forty years’ experience working on mineral and energy law and policy issues in Africa. He has served as consultant to the UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the Commonwealth Secretariat on mineral and related regulatory regimes on the African continent and particular sub-regions. He was one of Ghana’s advocates in proceedings at the International Tribunal on the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) relating to the maritime boundary between Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire conducted between December 2014 and September 2017. He assisted in the proceedings between Argentina and Ghana which arose out of the detention in Ghanaian waters (pursuant to a court order) of the Argentinian naval ship, the Ara Libertad. He has also assisted in several international commercial arbitration disputes involving Ghana.
