Case concerning the location of boundary markers in Taba between Egypt and Israel (1988) XX RIAA 1
Description:
The case took place in the context of Israel’s agreement in 1979 to withdraw from the Sinai Peninsula to the “recognized international boundary between Egypt and the former mandated territory of Palestine”. In the years following the withdrawal, most of the boundary had been agreed upon. However, 14 boundary pillar locations remained contested, especially around Taba.
