Description:
The dispute concerns the effect of Libya’s ‘BP Nationalisation Law’ (1971) which nationalized all BP’s rights in terms of a petroleum Concession Agreement (1957). The claimant later requested the arbitrator re-open his award between the same parties of 10 October 1973 on the basis of substantial and procedural errors.
