Opening the doors of international arbitration

Young ICCA is a world-wide arbitration knowledge network for young practitioners and students, established in 2010. It aims to promote the use of arbitration by exposing new practitioners from all corners of the globe to the international practice of arbitration.
Young ICCA functions under the auspices of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA).

Young ICCA Mentoring Programme: Mentoring group presents the results of their year-long research

On 28 November 2018, at the offices of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates in Frankfurt, Mentor Dr. Anke Sessler and Buddy Mr. Ravi Aswani were able to observe and participate in a seminar presented by their Mentees on the “Future of Intra-EU Investment Disputes in the aftermath of the decision of the ECJ in Achmea”.

Applications for a three-month internship, commencing in February/March 2019, hosted by ICCA at the Peace Palace in The Hague are now open.


Young ICCA Annual Scholarships

Young ICCA has partnered with three universities to create Young ICCA Scholarship programmes. Each year, the three universities offer Young ICCA Members a chance to apply for these full-tuition scholarships. The programmes include:

  • Miami Law / Young ICCA Annual Scholarship (University of Miami, Miami, FL, USA)
  • MIDS - Young ICCA Scholarship (University of Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland)
  • Young ICCA Tsinghua Law School Scholarship (Tsinghua University, Beijing, China)
