Young ICCA Skills Training WorkshopWorking with Clients in International Arbitration – a Young Practitioner’s ‘How To’ Guide

This is a reminder that Young ICCA is organizing an International Arbitration Skills Workshop which in New York City on Thursday, March 5, 2015.  Places are going fast and early applications are strongly encouraged.

The topic of the workshop is "Working with Clients in International Arbitration – a Young Practitioner’s ‘How To’ Guide.”  It will focus on practical tips for working effectively with clients of different jurisdictions and backgrounds and developing strong client relationships.

The workshop will be led by a faculty of senior leaders and highly experienced younger arbitration practitioners, including James Carter (WilmerHale), Elliot Polebaum (Fried Frank),  Yasmine Lahlou (Chaffetz Lindsey), Aloysius Llamzon (King & Spalding), Monique Sasson (Morgan Stanley), Thomas Walsh (Sullivan & Cromwell) and Rocio Digón (ICC / SICANA).

The Workshop will begin at 2.30 pm and conclude at 7.30 pm, with a mid-afternoon break for refreshments and a cocktail reception and networking opportunity between 5.30 pm and 7.30 pm.  It will be followed by dinner at a restaurant in Midtown Manhattan.

We have received sponsorship for the dinner.  We are also working to secure sponsorship to cover accommodation for non-New York City residents; this will be communicated to registered participants in due course.
