Young ICCA Skills Training Workshop on the Basics of International Arbitration

Young ICCA is pleased to invite you to attend a Skills Training Workshop in Johannesburg on 18 July 2019. The workshop will be hosted by Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr at their offices in 1 Protea Pl, Sandton, Johannesburg, 2196, South Africa

The workshop will be focused on the “Basics of International Arbitration”. The topics for discussion are: Prerequisites for Commencement of Arbitration and Presentation of Evidence in International Arbitration.

The faculty of the Young ICCA Johannesburg workshop is composed as follows:

Additional information: There are 60 spots available and 30 of them are reserved for Young ICCA members. Participants will generally be confirmed on a first come first served basis. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, lunch and coffee breaks, as well as a cocktail reception, will be offered to the participants. Please indicate in your email whether you would like to attend the post-event cocktail reception.

Application and registration: To apply, please send a short email in English captioned “Young ICCA Workshop in Johannesburg” stating your interest along with a resume to yiccajohannesburg2019@youngicca.org, and indicate whether or not you are a member of Young ICCA.      

All participants are expected to bear their costs of transportation to, from and within Johannesburg, as well as incidental expenses. They are further responsible for any necessary visa arrangements.
