Professor Bernini became a member of ICCA in 1973 and participated actively in its activities inter alia as rapporteur at the New Delhi Congress 1975, member of the Working Group on Arbitration Practice at the New York Congress 1986, rapporteur at the Bologna Conference on The Authority of Arbitrators 1987, author of the Synthesis Report at the Tokyo Conference 1988, rapporteur on ICCA’s Activities in 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, author of the National Report Italy 1981 (updating 1988)
