Mr. Guillermo Aguilar-Alvarez

General bio

Guillermo Aguilar Alvarez is a partner of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP resident in New York, where he heads the International Arbitration practice group. Mr. Aguilar Alvarez was Counsel and General Counsel of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, Principal Legal Counsel for the government of Mexico for the negotiation and implementation of the NAFTA and other trade agreements. Prior to joining Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP, Mr. Aguilar Alvarez was a partner in the Mexican firm of SAI Abogados. He is also a Visiting Lecturer in Law at the Yale Law School.
