Ms. Ariel Ye

General Bio

Ms. Ye is a seasoned litigator, arbitration practitioner and arbitrator. She is currently the head of King & Wood' Malleson’s Cross-border Dispute Resolution Practice and a recognized expert on PRC-related dispute resolution in the Asia Pacific region.

Ms. Ye handled the first ICC and SCC arbitration cases for Chinese companies in the middle of 1980s and was one of the few Chinese lawyers with most extensive experiences in international arbitration. Ms. Ye frequently handles arbitration cases before CIETAC, HKIAC, ICC, and other international arbitration institutions.

Ms. Ye is a panel arbitrator of CIETAC and the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration. She is also a member of SIAC Court of Arbitration and a member of the Governing Board of the ICCA as well as a mentor of Young ICCA. Ms. Ye is the past vice chairman of Arbitration Committee of IPBA.

Awards, Nominations and Special roles

Ms Ye was the one of the Top Ten Outstanding Chinese Women selected during the World Women Conference in 1994. She has been frequently recognized as a leading counsel by Chambers Global and Asian Legal Business (China) etc. in the past decade.  In 2012, Ms Ye was recognized as one of the top 15 Female PRC Lawyer by ALB and one of 75 Client First Choice Lawyers in Asia Pacific Region.
