The Young ICCA Africa Desk seeks to:

  • Promote arbitration as a viable means of dispute resolution in cross-border disputes.

  • Support and strengthen existing institutions on the African continent (“institution-building”) – we aim to work in cooperation or partnership with existing institutions and not independently.

  • Build capacity in the knowledge and practice of arbitration among local practising lawyers, academics, government lawyers and local judiciaries.
